Adams: The Gospel According to the Other Mary (World Premiere; LA Philharmonic commission)

This work was presented four times, May 31 through June 3 in Disney Hall.

Picture shows brilliant tenor Russell Thomas in a memorable outburst as Lazarus. All soloists were especially fine — and the work will certainly be hailed as an Adams masterpiece.
